Lynx

The Lynx is part of the cat family. They are one of the bigger cats in north america. Lynx lives in forest and mountain regions. They are recognised by long tuffs on ears and stubby tails.
Food
Lynxes are carnivores so they only eat meat. Their favourite prey is hare but they also eat birds and deers. Lynxes hunt at night. This means they are nocturnal.

Mating
Lynxes mate in early spring and late winter. About 2 months later the mother lynx has a litter on average, 4 babies. Mother lynxes have babies once a year. Lynxes have their babies in dens. Lynx kittens love to wrestle with each other.
